The Effect is a twist on organic subjects such as butterflies, insects, and flowers. These images have been contorted in order to confuse the viewer of what direction the subjects are moving. Inspired by Edward Lorenz “The Butterfly Effect,” these pieces represent the limitless options we have in making a decision within a single moment. Our inability to predict what will come next is what makes our human experience so intense.
